Since sometime last night,  the geocoder no longer works like it used
to. If you type in a position, it now appears to be "snapped" to a
road, it can no longer be "in the wilderness"

Here is an example using the geocoder code from :
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/examples/geocoding-simple.html
type : 45.94959, 6.95926 and it gets "snapped" to 45.92534, 6.86979
It used to just center the map on the actual 45.94959, 6.95926
position.

I think I had noticed something similar a couple of weeks ago for a
few hours but then it went back to normal. Is that a definitive
change ? I hope not as it's going to limit the usefulness of the
geocoder that could be used as a way to center the map on a particular
spot, be it on a road or not.
