Thanks for the input, I had tried using the uppercase UKFCU when registering for my key, but it still did not work. When I typed my question I didn't think about the case sensitivity because it redirects you, that was my error.
It seems geocodezip was correct in that using the top level domain is best, this solved my problem. Thank you for your time Mike, I am new to this and figured it would be something along these lines that would fix it, but I didn't think about using the top level domain. Maybe Google should suggest this on the API registration page, as I am guessing that other newbies would probably run into the same problem?
