I see nozoom:false in your code...dont you?

        exml = new GeoXml("exml", map, "unitedkingdom2.xml",
        {sidebarid:"the_side_bar",sortbyname:true, iwwidth:15,
allfoldersopen:false,
        iconFromDescription:false, nozoom:false, quiet:true, domouseover:false,
baseicon:icon});
exml.parse();

I am using nozoom:true, but since I have added folders to my sidebar
menu my problem has reappeared. My center display lat, long is
shifting. I would like it to keep the same zoom extend as my
waterways, but differ per folder when you click on it.
My kml folder markers has same lat, long last time I checked.

Thanks in advance

 My map is has a pop up transparent window with geoxml as you
navigate that displays marker #s, How do I remove it?
In a gray box....."showing geoxml elements..."
you can defined your own messagebox and hide it...or you can update to
the latest version
and pass a quiet option to the class
quiet:true
 Also,my map flashes twice before display and when I change my center
position it does not affect my map with the sidebar, only the
 one that flashes at first.
If I understand what you are talking about the default behavior of my
GeoXml
is to zoom to the extents of data that is loaded you can disable that
with the option
nozoom:true

Thanks in advance for your help. .
