That horse runs faster than this one, why is that? Because it uses a different method (or more likely range of methods). Perhaps you could get your webpage to use ip2location instead if it's better suited for your needs, can't tell. As an aside, what is 'better' is subjective. For me, client location does give an answer but it is 60 miles away - my ISPs HQ (ip2location agrees with that).
