Hello, I am trying to insert a world map view on a website using Google Maps, but I have a design issue: I need the world map to fit in a particular box (width 325px).
I've been playing with the zoom levels: level 1 is too big and level 0 is too small. I could always use level 0 and then crop the borders around the world map, but then the map is too small and looks strange, because there is more space than that 'reserved' for it. Setting zoom level to something like 0.5 is not an option, since it has to be an integer. I've been also trying to play with the map size, but all I am able to do is to reduce the portion of the map shown, not change the size of the world map so that it fits in 325px. If I set the size with opts.size to my desired width, I only see part of the world (and I need to see it all). I'm not even sure this can be done, I've spent a lot of time looking for answers with no luck. But before I discard this as an option, I'd appreciate if somebody tells me if there is a solution to my problem. Thanks a lot, Ramon --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
