Hi

I'm having a strange issue with infowindows that dont open - or they
do, and then they close again. It may be a compatibility issue with
GeoXml and my version of google.maps (2.x).

test link: http://live.labforculture.org/2009/05/blogmap/map-test.php
try opening a few. the bug sets in at random after a while, or so it
seems.

It's hard to describe. On some markers in some situations, if you
click on the marker, the map decides to open a infowindow; it starts
sliding the map to make space for the balloon, sometimes it even shows
a balloon, and then - poefff - it decides to close it (and calls
oninfowindowclose, which in turn triggers the map to slie back to the
original position).

It has a strangely comic effect - click - poeff - click -poeff - but
its really annoying if you actually would want to read the balloon.

I'm using GeoXml to add markers (and their infowindow event listeners)
to my map. So I'm not using GGeoXML (http://code.google.com/apis/maps/
documentation/reference.html#GGeoXml)
I'm using GeoXml (http://www.dyasdesigns.com/geoxml/ - which is
advanced but badly documented). Another option would be EGeoXML
(http://econym.org.uk/gmap/egeoxml.htm - less advanced but perfectly
documented). I wish I knew what the relations between these libs
were...

Has anyone ever experienced this before ?

thanks,
*-pike
