I have a simple map that references 2 kmz files. One is a point file and one lines. The point file does not have shadows for the icons. But when I print out the map, shadows appear by the points (weird, pixelated shadows). Is there any way to get rid of these shadows? The kmz files are created as an extract from ArcGIS as part of an automated process. Opening the kmz, changing the code of the kml file, and recompressing to kmz is not a good option. There are no options in the export tool in ArcGIS for specifying the shadow in any way.
