Hello Everyone, I am trying to reproduce some of Google Earth's functionality when displaying a gigapan. For example, try this link:
http://www.gigapan.org/exportGigapan.php?ids=29297&nonl=1 Open the downloaded KML in GE, then exit the photo, then click on the photo once. You should get an info window popping up which contains a link "Enter Panorama", which takes you back into the image. The part I am trying to copy is clicking on a link in an info window to enter the panorama. Here is my attempt: http://www.byteswithbite.co.uk/kilgore/org/test/gptest.html This shows the gigapan and clicking on it produces an info window with the "Enter Panorama" link, but clicking on the link does not enter the image. Not surprising really because the link's href is http://www.byteswithbite.co.uk/kilgore/org/test/gptest.html#gigapan_29297 which does not exist, although when one clicks on the link the browser (FF3) sits there saying "Transferring data from www.gigapan.org" which I don't understand. This makes me think that there is something special in GE that only works with links to the gigapan servers, although given that this only my second ever use of the API it is quite likely I am missing something. Can anyone help please? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
