  Maps are maps.  If you want to search specifically for business
data, the Google AJAX Search API might do what you want.  The data can
be obtained with geo content, and you can analyse the geo content.
You don't need a map for any of that.
  When using any data outside of the context it was provided for, you
need to be wary of terms and conditions imposed.  I don't suppose a
McDonalds/Squaremile figure would upset anyone, but scraping the data
to keep your own copy of the locations of every store might.
