Synopsis: Using a proximity algorithm to retrieve a set of points to map relative to a center point.
My approach has been to load the data as needed. This is creating challenges for pan and zoom. However, another approach would be to load up a much greater set of data points. The dataset can be as much as several hundred geocodes for a small proximity of 5 miles. Questions: Which approach is a better? What is a good approach to handling zoom and retrieving new data? Should I go through the trouble of calculating the scale and adjusting the proximity to retrieve a new dataset that fits within the maps bounds?
