Sorry, it's just that as I said, my original app is for Google Maps
API, so that is my starting point for the port. I asked here to see if
I could just add in the data I required from another source to my
existing (Gmaps API) code.

I just found this, which would seem to say otherwise. From "The
Horse's Mouth" so to speak:

So what I am trying to find out now I suppose, is whether that data is
available ONLY directly through the multimap API, or via mapstraction,
which i am currently asking about on the mapstraction mailing list.

Feedback appreciated though - keep the suggestions coming ;)
