Have you studied svgweb. It's a javascript library project to provide
SVG support in IE without any plugins.

I think you have to repair your VML to try that.

It is quite probable that IE9 will have some level of native SVG
support. Microsoft decided to join SVG workgroup three weeks ago.
Their blogpost starts with humor: "As a part of Microsoft’s continued
