Thanks for the answer. So isn't the clue making some help function, which can simulate what GDownloadUrl does? And then overload the callback function somehow.. But how? I'm not really sure I'm getting all of what you've spoken. I read the sources Larry gave me, but I'm not convinced that there is a way working with the callback function properly.
