This is my last post with regards to your post here so here is. Most people posting in this group are people doing work with google maps. We are programmers or people tinkering around with programming and trying to accomplish our end goal on our own. We are all going to run across situations where we get stumped or need to ask someone else for advice, and that is exactly what this group excels at.
Everyone is in a position to teach anyone anything, if you walk through life with the attitude you expressed there I feel sorry for you for you will truly learn nothing. Just b/c someone isn't an expert on something doesn't mean they haven't accomplished something similar or have some input that they can present to someone that will help them out to some degree. Hell, it is even better if a non expert explains things to people sometimes b/c they can simplify it to a level that the other individual can relate to better than professionals and experts sometimes can. If you are with the mentality that you don't want to try to accomplish something on your own here, don't want to put in the effort, and don't want to learn the api, there are hundreds of applications floating around that will create a custom map for you and its just a matter of copy and pasting the link. No work needed or anything. But don't go around insulting the people posting here and helping others out b/c it is just plain ignorant and rude.
