Adding Zip Code will sometimes reduce the ambiguity of the results. In many cases that I've seen, there are duplicate street names (Main Street for instance) within one city but they will have different Zip Codes. Leaving the Zip Code off will return two results, adding it will return just one. If you've got the Zip Code and are sure it's a good one for the address, by all means include it. Zip Code is not mandatory though.
