I'm not sure that I understand. It displays OK in my version of FF
(3.6)

The lines gets toggled from the checkboxes beside their name in the
sidebar. The thing is that they don't get toggled via the show/hide
categories that I was using last time, but rather by the togglePoly
function at line 140.

Like I say, I tried to bring over all the working code from the hide/
show category technique, and use it by adapting the togglePoly
function into a toggleArrow function - but it seems not to be working
that way.

I'm trying to use this technique because it sets up a permanent list
of the names of the lines in the sidebar, and these are clickable
links that then open infowindows on the lines when clicked, which is
ideal for my purposes.

But if the sidebar isn't even showing up, I guess I may have larger
issues.

any ideas welcomed...

Lucas
