I think this is done, with arrows.mypoly_num = poly_num;

I thought I did this, too, with pts[i].show(); in the togglePoly
function,

and the show/hide function at line 75.

But it looks to me like I'm going backwards...

at least I can get a sidebar div to show, skinny and weird as it may
be... :(
