Andrew Leach has categorically stated it's not ok to stitch images together! Nor is it within the Terms to use CANVAS to assemble a composite image: that's stitching together by any other name. What would be within the Terms of Service (and which I have suggested) would be to use more than one discrete image, each with its own <img> tag, positioned immediately adjacent.
