Chris, No errors in the console. I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.6 with Safari 5.0.3 (6533.19.4) on a MacBook Pro.
The markers disappear for the top 4 zoom levels. I'll keep banging on it tomorrow morning (it's 22:30 now here in Vancouver so I'm just about done for the night).
