Hi all, Please forgive me if these questions have already been answered; if they have, I haven't found the answers or don't know the correct terms to use when searching.
I am developing an application for the iPhone, which wants to download a random image every, say, 5-10 minutes. Since I specifically want randomness, I just want to be able to pull from the http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/explore image set. This much, I believe I can do from reading the posts here. (Please correct me if that's wrong!) However, what I'm not clear on is whether or not I can do this without requiring the end user to log in. I'm perfectly happy to register my application in some fashion so that users don't have to log in, but all of the talk on registering an application seems to focus on web apps, which this is not. To summarize: 1. Can I pull random images from the http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/explore image set? 2. Can I do this in an application which will be licensed to users for a fee? 3. Can I do this without requiring individual users to log in each time they use the application? 4. Do I have to register my application somehow? Where? 5. (Bonus question) Is there a bit of sample code anywhere that'd be a helpful place to start with this?
