Hi Terence, You want the featured photos feed:
http://code.google.com/apis/picasaweb/reference.html#Feeds http://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/projection/featured It's not quite random, they are specially selected. I also believe they are only refreshed every so often. #2 - You can read our Terms here: http://code.google.com/apis/picasaweb/terms.html #3 - The featured photos feed does not require authentication. As far as terms compliance goes, as long as you are just browsing you do not need to force each user to log into their Picasaweb account. (It's when they start uploading photos that we really want them to have their own accounts.) #4 - Nope. #5 - Depends on what language you want to write this in. We have a number of developer guides in different languages (Java, .NET, PHP, Python) that use our provided client libraries: http://code.google.com/apis/picasaweb/developers_guide_protocol.html Cheers, -Jeff On Dec 16, 8:22 am, Terence <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all, > > Please forgive me if these questions have already been answered; if > they have, I haven't found the answers or don't know the correct terms > to use when searching. > > I am developing an application for the iPhone, which wants to download > a random image every, say, 5-10 minutes.
