This is available in the protocol already, but for whatever oddball reason,

Google Web Search does this already on popular groups (since these groups 
often have

Already has this, try using a client that offers bookmarks instead of the 
Google Talk client.

This just gives spammers an excuse.  Probably best avoided at all costs.
