I posted a question in the group, "About Google Talk", and I haven't gotten any feedback. I couldn't find a way to contact Google directly by email, so I'm trying to use this I'm trying again in this group to see if I can get someone that can answer my questions. My company has a web site for different stores and a custom build web IM component where the sales reps in these stores can chat with each other. As we’ve added more stores and more sales reps, our web IM component isn’t scaling like we’d like. So we are looking at the possibility of using Google Talk or Google Gadget to replace our current web IM component. Can Google Talk work via web or do we use Google Gadget? We currently have around 400 users and we need to get an idea of the terms and limits of using Google Talk. Is it in Beta? If it is, when is it expected to come out of Beta What are the costs associated with using Google Talk? What language is it written in? Our site is written in ColdFusion but we are expecting to convert over to C#.NET in the next 6-12 months. Are there any known issues trying to integrate C#.NET with it? We also want to save the history on our side; do you see any issues with doing that? Thanks, Chad
