I agree. I have three themes I have put a lot of time and creativity into (not just some random uploaded pictures using the online theme editor) that I have tried submitting. I create my own images, edit my own xml and host my own code and graphics on my own server, but I've submitted themes and they don't get posted. These new themes that are appearing built with the online editor get added left and right. Seriously, how many Twilight themes and photos of random people's foreheads can you accept? It's as if Google allows random images to be added as themes but overlooks the hand-coded and hand-crafted graphics for themes. No wonder why so many other designers have left.
I've had wonderful feedback from users. They've given me great ideas and suggestions at improving my themes. But I don't know if it's worth doing anymore. What's the point if Google doesn't accept anything else besides these random images as themes? Google is losing valuable users and they don't appear to be doing anything about it. Google doesn't appear to care about those of us who enjoy sharing our creativity with the world.
