I believe that I have the same problem, the theme background and gadget headers are intact but my banner is missing. A full description from a post over at web-help is:
03/28/09 I have created a custom theme that is displayed correctly in Chrome and IE, but is missing all of the banner images in Firefox (my primary browser). It was working consistently for a few weeks and has not been showing the image now for a few days (the rest of the theme is intact). I have cleared all private data, installed the latest updates, and disabled any new add-ons of which I am aware, to no avail. I have also posted my question to Mozilla, but does any here have an idea for me? Updates: I should also note that the theme banner image does not load in firefox safe mode either. I just logged onto our other computer and the igoogle banner images are now missing in firefox, chrome and IE8 (I am running Windows 7 on this PC) . When I posted the original question both firefox and chrome correctly displayed the banners on this PC (I try not to use IE8 so I can't say if it worked before). Now I am pretty sure this is on the google side of things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
