Google is not translating every word. I converted your text into
Buckwalter and looked them up in my dictionary (based on Buckwalter).
You see I am a Mathematician not an Arabist! The word "lys" the second
reading right to left means "is not". It could mean "Islam is a
VALIANT religion of terror" but that would not be statistical.
Google has done this before. Look at this

drjp (degree) is not translated. Arabic script is available in the
reference but I hesitate to use it in Google Groups, I have frequently
got nonsense.
There is one other very significant point which I have made and this
is a little bit of a tangent to what you said I know, but anyone who
understands the laws of radiation and quantum mechanics would see
immediately that Google's translation was nonsense. Point is a search
gets the law up correctly.
Google works on n-grams I think you should read through this thread
and follow up the references.

Google is a glorified phrase book. It tries to form
AlAslAm lys dyn ArhAbjml into AlAslAm dyn ArhAbjml "Islam is a
religion of terror." This is simply because it has the one in its list
of n-grams but not the other. It cannot make one thing into the other.
I personally feel that the Google appraoach is fundamentally unsound.
Better would be to have a smaller collection of n-grams and get a set
of grammaticall rules. "lys" is clearly "is not" in the dictionary. We
have therefore a 3-gram and a 1-gram.
