The feature of copying the original text along with the translation is why Google is my translator of choice and I direct my researchers to use FF for this reason, however, I can recognize the desire to switch this feature off . Interestingly, I've only experienced this when using Firefox as my browser and not when I use IExplorer. I just ran the experiment again, Firefox and Firefox using IE rendering copied the original text, while straight up IE did not copy the original text.
