Hi Chris, Providing links on your page to Google Translations of your page is certainly not something that I think Google would have any problem with. I would imagine they *like* when people link to them in that way.
I would encourage you however to reconsider using flags for the links. This is a common practice, but not necessarily a good one. You might like to read http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/flags.html As for the "automated queries" error you're seeing, this has nothing to do specifically with your website, but rather Google things that your computer might be sending lots of automated queries to their service. This shouldn't happen if you're doing legitimate translations, but perhaps in testing your flag links you did a whole bunch of translations in a short period of time? or maybe you're behind a proxy where other users are doing translations?
