Well, I've found this stackoverflow question here [1] which appears to be quite outdated. I am not quite sure which library to use because I can't really find some more recent comparisons. A lot of people tend to say "don't use any of those libraries, just use the MVP pattern instead" which sounds kind of strange to me because how does the MVP pattern satisfy all my Widget-Needs? ^^
I've seen there is a LGPL licence for SmartGWT but I am not sure: Is SmartGWT a replacement for GWT or is it just a library I can use withing GWT applications? Regarding Vaadin: It seems this library runs on the server. I don't think this is suitable for me. It appears that there is a lot of stuff out there and I am already stuck in another framework hell. So are there any sources where I can get informed or can somebody recommend me reliable library that won't send me into hell's kitchen?
