This is very frustrating and has royally screwes up my calendar as I have edited some items on my phone and some on my calendar - now it's just one big mess. Google's site says that they properly implement DST and that if there are issues importing from other calendars it's not their fault. Hopefully someone will be able to resolve this soon.
