I am having a similar problem but found a work around: Sync the palm to the desktop software, making sure both are the same, then sync to google. The events show up correctly in google but some repeating events (not all) show up 1 hour later and without categories on the palm . Then perform a one way sync from the desktop software to the palm, desktop overwriting the palm. All have the events at the correct times and categories. I assume the time change will eventually be corrected. Will there be an update so that the categories will remain without having to sync again to the desktop? Thanks.
