ps.. The other thing I did was to install it on another device (a
Cingular 8125 mobile phone).  I just happened to buy one this week.  I
wonder if deleting my old device and entering a new one from a clean
state did anything.  Something like that might be an option.  (not
buying a new PDA!, but maybe deleting the device at goosync.com and
reinstalling it)
