I am also having trouble with recurring events. It seems to me that I
can successfully create a recurring event however, if I change a
single instance within that series in google calendar my Treo calendar
keeps the original instance PLUS it displays an entirely new event for
the changed instance.

For example, if I set up a meeting for Monday, Wednesday and Friday at
8 am for the next 4 weeks but change only one of those instances
(Wednesday of this week only) to 9 am, my Treo will continue to
display the old instance (8 am) plus a "new event" with the same
description at 9 am. Everything displays correctly in Google Calendar
(the moved instance shows up at 9 instead of 8) but the phone doesn't
seem to recognize the changed instance.

Also, it appears that any old recurring events I had in my phone will
often "come back" after a sync if I don't delete all instances of the
recurring event in my phone. These recurring events don't show up in
Google Calendar.
