I then followed the IP address from the log after clicking the update
option in the goosync client, and it led me to the Synthesis AG web
site, where a version 3.0.2.3 was available.  I got the 30-day
evaluation version and entered the www.goosync.com/sync/sync.aspx on
teh client field.

It did not work the first time, but I did find that the "abort" button
now works when it is stuck, unlike verion 3.0.1.1.
The second time, it ran to completion, but it made my less up-to-date
Google calendar overwrite my more up-to-date Treo calendar.
The third time it hung.

P.S. I have a Treo 650 and I am using Softick PPP 2.34
