(excuse my shouting). There is little purpose in my getting another version of Ubuntu, however impressive the eye candy, when I can get the original (just wanted to point out that this is my own, personal opinion without lack of gratitude on my part for your hard work) > XFCE Legacy Edition - Late September > LXDE & E17 Editions - Possible Mid October to Mid-November (maybe > Intrepid based) > Thank your devs from me. If there was going to be another desktop that would use, it would be E17, but I would find myself going for another distro such as elive. I have to admit that Xfce looks interesting and I await it with anticipation. > There has been very premature talk of maybe doing a KDE4 spin, but we > have no KDE development volunteers to take up such a mega project. I agree the project would be mega and there would problems, but I REALLY think this is a big mistake. KDE 4.1.1 is really quite stable, but I don't feel its stable enough for me to rely on when writing university essays (I use KDE 3.5.10 for that). KDE is my desktop of choice and if its not in gOS I will go back to eLive -- Graham Todd --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gOS Linux" group.
