Hi.

I am having problems getting my Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter
F5D7050 to work. I do not have internet connection on this machine so
I can't simply use apt-get. Also, I've read the following post
(
http://groups.google.com/group/goslinux/browse_thread/thread/b4d1ba73d6e339d/eed6f0f2238fa28c?hl=en&lnk=gst&q=Belkin#eed6f0f2238fa28c
) and links it provided as well and they were sort of helpful but it's
not solving the problem. I am also looking over at the Ubuntu forums
as well.

Anyways, the wireless network adapter worked without any problem on my
Ubuntu machine (Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn)). But I see now that with
the Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) people are having problems with this
adapter so I need some good resources to get it all working. I see
that you need to install ndiswrapper so seeing as I do not have an
internet connection I put in my gOS CD, navigated to the cdrom drive
and with the terminal I typed out: sudo apt-get install ndiswrapper-
common* (utils doesn't seem to work and suggests that you use
ndiswrapper-common instead). From what I saw it seemed to install the
package but when I ran the following command sudo ndiswrapper -i
BLKWGU.inf I get the following: "Error: no ndiswrapper utils found!"

Any links to resources on this particular Network Adapter using Ubuntu
8.04 (Hardy Heron) is welcomed. Thanks for your help.
