After spending a number of hours each day for the last couple of weeks
trying to get some vague understanding of gOS and its components, I suspect
I am beyond what I can do. My Cloud still just loops on a test cycle since
I tried to upgrade. I understand others have the same troubles, but they
appear to be at a higher level than I am.

If I could just have it work the way it did when I got it. I thought that
would be enough. I now wonder if I wouldn't be better off formatting the
hard drive and loading XP, with which I am somewhat familiar as I have it on
my old Dell desk top. It is a shame really as I think that gOS is very
interesting, but has more bugs than I can manage at my level.

I am open to any suggestions, but right now I can't get it do anything
except get to GRUB, then I don't know what to do.

Thanks for reading this far

Jan
