gOS ist basiert auf Ubuntu und es hat bereits unterstutzung fur
Deutch, probier mal "System Preferences>Preferences>Language Support".

gOS is based on Ubuntu, and as such it already has support for many
other languages, just run System Preferences>Preferences>Language
Support
But note that this only supports application programs, and Gnome core
components that have translations for the language you choose, so not
everything will be instantly switched to the language you choose. See
it as setting the "default language", if a translation for that
language is available, the system will choose to use it. Many of gOS
specific components however are only available in English.

The location of the widgets can be changed easily enough, see a
recently posted thread. The current position is on the left because
gOS is modelled after OSX, not windows.
