<sigh> the only thing you need to do is to boot your computer with the CD in the player. The BIOS in your computer will then boot the CD, that is IF the BIOS is set so it tries to boot the CD before trying to boot from the hard- disk.
The CD is NOT booted while doing anything with it under windows. Maybe you have read otherwise somewhere, but that was about the "wubi" installer of Ubuntu 8.04, which gOS does NOT have! If the computer does NOT try to boot the CD while it is in the player during boot, go into the BIOS, and check the settings. To get into the BIOS normally requires you to press 'Del' during booting, but sometimes its F10 or F2, often the BIOS messages tell you what to do. Or mash your hand on the keyboard pressing several keys at once during boot and wait for a "keyboard is bad" message which is most often followed with an offer to open the BIOS.
