You are right, perhaps Poyzin is simply missing the fact that an .ISO file is a disk image, not just a file that you can burn to a disk as any other file.
See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_image an .ISO image needs to be burned to a disk using a "burn image" option. The burning software then uses the information in the .ISO file to re-create a CD. If you simply burn a CD containing the .ISO file you will NOT get a boot-able CD, and neither will it work to "open" the .ISO file and burn its contents to a CD!
