I'm new to all this and have just spent a day trying to load Gadgets on an HP 8400 series laptop at work. It appears to be working ok and after about five minutes of intense DVD activity it produces the green screen and the sideways bouncing green button. But then it just stays like that for over about half an hour. Eventually the whole thing just dies and nothing loads. At no stage does anything appear to transfer to the HDD which currently has XP installed on it. Does anybody have any idea what may be wrong?
