Thank's for the replies. I need to be more specific. I was trying on a laptop that I had transfered a different DVD drive into because the original was bad. I also had two different CD's that I burned. The first was unsuccessful but another that I'd burned at home loaded the OS fine from the CD. So it looks like I'm on the right track with it. It's looking good so far. I hope to be up and running with it soon. Thanks for the help folks.

It maybe that your live bbot cd is incomplete or didn't burn properly which would be why it has frozen. When it finally loads you will have the options to install the os & paritioning or just run it as a live cd until you get the feel of it.
