HELLO If you are running the g os on your laptop on the live cd then nothing will be transfered to your hard drive. It maybe that your live bbot cd is incomplete or didn't burn properly which would be why it has frozen. When it finally loads you will have the options to install the os & paritioning or just run it as a live cd until you get the feel of it. Thank you Dave
