Hello,

I have installed gOS Gadgets onto a 2GB usb device, I am able to start
up without error (although slow) and use gOS, how ever the persistence
isn't functioning. For example the secruity updates and install apps
(terminal server client), and created documents are lost on reboot.

I have tried to apply all updates from a fresh installation and
reboot. How ever I am back at the same state once I have rebooted. I
don't get any errors and all appears to be fine otherwise. I'm using
this distro on a windows network and at the moment I am having to
install certain apps each time I boot.

I've google searched but not been able to find any help. I used a
pendrive linux tutorial to create the USB image through a windows PC.

Can anyone advise where I should be looking to resolve the persistence
issues? Or is there an alternative live usb distribution that has been
known to work successfully for most users? I really like the gOS and
use Ubuntu Hardy at home, I really don't want to go back to XP and I
can't install the distro directly on the PC.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Jamie
