Hi Thomas. Yes, I have formatted USB drive a couple times using
different apps (initially syslinux I think). The process created a
FAT16/32 partition and a larger EXT2 partition.

I find the boot times are a bit slow too.

I am really struggling to find a usb live gOS with persistence. Can
any one explain how the persistence works? Without the persistence I
will have to look at another distro, that would be a shame as I use
mostly Google apps and really like the feel of gOS.

Any adivse would be really appreciated.
