I don't think the loss of power damaged anything. It wasn't a power
surge or anything, the plug just got mistakenly pulled while I was
running the install. No hardware changes. I hadn't opened the case
prior to this happening. After the fact, I have opened it to check to
make sure all the cables are firmly attached and nothing came loose.
Couldn't find any problems. My thoughts are that it could have caused
a problem with the harddrive since it was reformatting it during the
install, but I would think that I could still boot from the live CD
even if there was a HD problem. I also thought there could be some
kind of bios problem since it won't even make it to the live cd, but
I'm not sure how to troubleshoot that and the Dell info I found talks
about flashing the bios via floppy disk and this is the only computer
I have w/ a floppy.
