The WEDI mailing lists that I wish to archive used to have
[EMAIL PROTECTED] directly subscribed to them. Over time, they
gradually became "unsubscribed" because spammers would collect the
"random" e-mail addresses ("send a blank email to ....") from the
footers of the postings (before e-mail addresses were changed to "[EMAIL
PROTECTED]").
Now I wish to have the various WEDI mailing lists re-subscribed. Since
the Mail Archive doesn't support confirmations any longer, I simply
subscribed an alias that belongs to me, [EMAIL PROTECTED], to
each of the mailing lists. After confirming the subscriptions and
ensuring that the alias receives e-mails, I went ahead and re-directed
the alias to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Unfortunately, all of the WEDI listserve postings are placed under
"wedi-mirror" at the Mail Archive, instead of being separated amongst
the various listserves according to the "To:" field. I suspect the
"Delivered-To:" address (the forwarding alias) is being used by Mail
Archive, rather than the correct "To:" address. Can this "behavior" be
corrected?
