Are you the list admin? Can't you bypass the confirmation? Admins are
supposed to have god-like powers over this stuff. And I like the idea
that an admin probably has to be involved - it helps minimize
confusion and abuse.

Best way to correct is get rid of the forwarding alias. I hate those
things as a general rule. If that's absolutely impossible, ask again
and maybe I can do something on this end.

By the way, Mail-Archive code is available from the FAQ somewhere,
if you ever want to examine the heuristic sort yourself.
