Note that we need to make really clear on the page where they enter their number that this is optional. I've already ready complaints that we "need people to subscribe to a newsletter to download Firefox" just because there's an opt-in newsletter sign-on there. Next to making really clear that this is opt-in, we should also tell people how many messages of what kind this would mean for them (and how to deactivate this - text messages might have a cost for them, esp. when roaming).
