This expansive definition is definitely the more exciting one to me.

We can (and will) define various levels of mozillianness, impact, authority, 
etc., but making the bar low enough that _any contribution_ (including $3, £3 
or 3€, or maybe even just “standing up and being counted” brings value to 
Mozilla as a whole.  

I also believe that if we do it right, this “easiest” level of engagement (just 
saying “I’m a mozillian”) is the first step on a ladder.  Once someone has made 
that first step, I believe it’ll be easier to get them to step up to the next 
rung up the ladder, because _self-identification_ is such a driver of human 
behavior.

PS: How old is the term Mozillian?  I feel like it’s actually fairly recent, no?
